On what would have been Paul Walker's 42nd birthday, the late actor's daughter, Meadow, honored her father by making a big announcement.
The teen took to Instagram Saturday to reflect on her father, writing, "I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people, and his passion for spontaneous goodwill."
These passions will now be expressed through the Paul Walker Foundation, which Meadow said she established because she wanted "to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others."
"I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father," she wrote in the caption of a photo of her with her dad, ending with the hashtag #DoGood.
According to Deadline, the Paul Walker Foundation is working with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to provide teens that are passionate about the ocean with scholarships, along with the Ocean Futures Society, a foundation set up by Jean-Michel Cousteau, the son of ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau, that helps educate people on how to protect the oceans.
