Big News For ’90s Nickelodeon Fans

Helga. Otto Rocket. Skeeter. If you were a '90s kid, these names mean a lot to you. Sadly, now that you're a grown-up and pay taxes, Helga's shrine to Arnold or the Rockets tearing up Ocean Shores may seem like distant memories — but maybe not for long. As spotted by MTV, Nickelodeon debuted a YouTube video on Saturday with the ambiguous title: "The Splat Is Coming." With clips from shows like Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold!, and more, it's rumored that the video is teasing a brand-new '90s-centric TV channel. There's also a website linking to The Splat's new social media accounts. Whatever The Splat proves to be, let's hope it airs the shows in all of their original glory — as opposed to lame revamps that have been making headlines as of late. There has been no official word about when it will launch, but you can bet we'll be refreshing our feeds until we get an answer. Watch this space for updates.
