We can officially stop calling Whole Foods "Whole Paycheck." Well, at least for the month of September. The supermarket chain known for its high prices is appealing to customers with a coffee deal that is making us seriously reconsider our usual morning routine. As part of the grocery store's "Shop In The Name Of Love" campaign, customers are eligible for several special deals throughout the month.
But the best one, by far, (unless you win one of the $500 shopping sprees) is the offer of 25 cent coffee every day from September 9 through September 30. Yes, you read that correctly. All 12-ounce cups are only a quarter — and the best part is, there's no limit. That means your morning coffee between now and the end of the month will total just $3.75, which is much closer to what we pay for coffee on the daily, not two week's worth of java.
Yes, we know Whole Foods is probably just trying to get us to stick around and blow more money on groceries, but we don't care. We'll take the almost-free coffee anyway.
