Brace yourselves Zoey 101 fans, the show is back! Well, sort of.
Let us start at the beginning: Zoey 101 was a popular show on Nickelodeon in the early 2000s about a young girl (played by Jamie Lynn Spears) and the rad high school she attended near Pacific Coast Highway. The show went off the airwaves in 2008, coincidentally around the time Spears got pregnant, and then we totally forgot the show even existed. Until now.
Show creator Dan Schneider dropped a hint last night via Twitter and directed fans to the Zoey 101 marathon on Teen Nick. There, they were surprised with a never-before-seen clip set in the present day.

There's quite the fun little surprise coming today. I'm smiling just thinking about the reaction. Stay tuned, y'all... ;)

Here's where things get trippy: In the clip, Chase (played by Sean Flynn) is all set to propose to some random girl, until Christopher Massey's character, Michael, brings up something from an episode that aired ten years ago — to the date. (It's Zoey's time capsule entry, btw.)
In said episode, Zoey tells chase he's allowed to open her entry in 10 years, instead of 20. Once he finds out Zoey thinks of him as her potential soulmate he dumps that other girl...and...to be continued.
Damn, Dan Schneider. Either you have a really amazing memory or you are an iCal reminder expert. Either way, kudos to you for making our teen selves jump for joy.
