Jimmy Fallon is an adorable dad. Ryan Reynolds is an adorable dad. Put 'em together and what have you got? Two adorable dads gushing over babies and singing Heart. Once again, the late-night gods have made us very, very happy.
Last night's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon saw the host who keeps baby photos in a locket interviewing the movie star who prides himself on not having a nanny. What did they talk about? Babies, duh.
"She’s saying ‘Mama,'" Reynolds told Fallon of his daughter James. "You know what my wife doesn’t realize, though? [James] calls me ‘Mama,’ too. Seriously. I literally had to sit her down and tell her that penises don’t work that way. She understands — she gets it."
Jokes. He may be "Mama" to James, but to everyone else, Reynolds said he's the "dad guy now."
"I’ve definitely lost all cool," he joked. Case in point?
"About a month ago, I was sitting in traffic and I was just jamming to 'These Dreams' by Heart," he shared. "I was killin' it in the car, and there was this busload of high school kids that were parked right beside me. I didn't even realize it. I looked over and every one of their jaws were just on the ground laughing their guts out at me... These little high school pricks, you can shove your Nae Nae song up your asses!"
Watch the clips below, and brace yourself for a rendition of "These Dreams" from two proud papas.
