Does #TGIT mean anything to you? If so, get ready to freak out. As any good Shonda Rhimes fan already knows, the showrunner's trio of hits — that would be Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder — will be premiering new episodes this Thursday night. But as we learned today, we now have a whole lot more to look forward to than Liv and Fitz possibly getting together. Entertainment Weekly reports that ABC has just bought a new army medical drama from Rhimes' production company, Shondaland. The new, as yet untitled show "focuses on a U.S. Army Medevac team operating out of a Baghdad base camp in 2004," according to EW. Rhimes is signed on as executive producer along with Betsy Beers, who has served as a producer on all three of Rhimes' aforementioned shows. Rounding out the team is Zoanne Clack, a Grey's Anatomy alum with a master's degree in public health, who created the script and is also attached as an executive producer. Further details are scant for now, but watch this space for updates (and clear your Thursday night schedules indefinitely, of course).
