Sam Smith Is A Sexy 007 In Video Teaser For “Writing’s On The Wall”

The theme song for the last James Bond film, Skyfall, won Adele an Oscar. As such, we're just a bit excited about the possibilities facing Sam Smith as he settles into his own 007 role. The British singer released "Writing's On The Wall," his theme song for the upcoming Spectre, last week. Now, we're getting a first look at the accompanying music video. It's short, it's very British, and it's totally licensed to thrill. Smith makes a case to be chosen as the next Bond (sorry, Damian and Idris) with his dapper appearance. He's suited, booted, and ready to be on Her Majesty's service with a resting bitch face that would make Daniel Craig proud. That might have something to do with the caskets draped in Union Jack flags behind him.
