Tyler Oakley's YouTube fame is undeniable. With more than 7 million subscribers, Oakley has welcomed an impressive roster of stars to his channel, including One Direction and Darren Criss. Later this year, he'll get one step closer to becoming a mainstream star himself.
Snervous, a documentary about Oakley, will be coming to select theaters in December, Awesomeness Films has announced. The doc is directed by Amy Rice and follows the story of Oakley's life and rise to digital fame. Oakley also has a book, Binge, coming out on October 20. Oakley isn't the first YouTube star to dabble in film. YouTubers Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, and Mamrie Hart all appeared in the film Camp Takota this February. YouTuber Lucas Cruikshank's online character also got a full-length feature in 2010's Fred: The Movie. Oakley tweeted his excitement about his upcoming projects, writing, "I've gotta say...between BINGE & SNERVOUS, these next few months are gonna be a fun time for our little twitter fam — hope you're ready! :]"
