Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, Miley Cyrus — what do the members of this bunch have in common, aside from coming out with questionable music at one point or another? They've also all been dubbed MAC Viva Glam spokespeople. And in a, quite frankly, unexpected move, the brand has just chosen singer Ariana Grande as the latest celeb to join this crew and hold the throne — following in Cyrus' controversial footsteps.
We say unexpected because Grande's been known to sport one beauty look, and one beauty look only: half-up pony and glam cat-eye. But she has been switching up her beauty routine more lately — showing off both her au naturel curls and a bleached-blonde look (which we now know was the work of a wig) in the span of a month — so maybe there's a shift happening. The 22-year-old has had an affinity for makeup for quite some time now, after all.
The brand announced the Grande x MAC collaboration via Periscope. The line, which launches in January, will include a deep-purple lipstick and a glitter-pink gloss to represent the "good" and "bad" girls inside all of us. Pick up your product depending on your disposition that day: Do you feel like licking a doughnut, or are you in a sugary-sweet Nickelodeon mood? The choice is yours.
