This Is What Martha From High School Musical Looks Like Now

Those who grew up on High School Musical can still sing the songs backwards and forwards at even their slightest mention, but not many have kept up with the iconic actors who brought some of the best lines to life. While Zac Efron is Simone Biles’ new internet boyfriend and Vanessa Hudgens just wowed the world in Grease Live!, other people, like KayCee Stroh, who played the dancing Martha Cox in the iconic “Status Quo” scene, haven’t stayed so fresh in the public’s mind. However, the 32-year-old actress (and mother!) posted a photo of her new haircut on Instagram Wednesday night, reminding the world that she’s still got spunk.
“I remember somebody said ‘Cutting your hair can be addictive’,” she captioned the photo. “And here we are.” Looks like she’s still not sticking to the status quo, and it looks great on her. Much of Cox’s social media presence is dominated by the adorable antics of her children, Zetta Lee and Lettie Louise. Although she hasn’t done as much acting work since the High School Musical franchise ended, she’s returning to the screen in upcoming film Holly, Jingles and Clyde 3D. She’ll be joining fellow Disney star Steven Anthony Lawrence, who many will remember as Beans from Even Stevens. It doesn’t sound like this holiday adventure will have any similarities to East High School, but let’s hope she’ll be popping, locking, jamming, and breaking in spirit.
