Retirement certainly isn't holding Gisele Bündchen back from making a whole lot of money.
As Forbes reported, Bündchen is once again the highest-paid model of the year. This is the 14th consecutive time the model has been honored with the title.
Despite the fact that Bündchen announced her retirement from the runway last year, she's reportedly raked in $30.5 million since June 2015. Much of this money came from her work with Chanel, Carolina Herrera, and Pantene. Not to mention, her own line of lingerie and skincare products, which bring in the big bucks.
Bündchen also managed to make a whopping $20 million more than Adriana Lima, the longest-running Angel in Victoria Secret's history, who came in second place on the Forbes list.
Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner tied for third bringing home $10 million each. Jenner gets the honor of being the model who made the highest jump on the list. Her earnings increased 150% in 2016, in large part to contracts with Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder.
Jenner's Instagram following certainly doesn't hurt either. The list shows that models with social media power are seeing it turn into real money. With over 22 million Instagram followers, Gigi Hadid made her debut on the list, coming in at 5th on the list with $9 million.
British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also made the list for the first time, tying Hadid with $9 million.
According to Forbes, the 20 highest-paid models in the world made a combined $154 million last year.
If you need a friendly reminder as to why Bündchen has been the highest-paid model since 2002, just watch her come out of retirement to walk the runway for the Rio Olympics.
