Queen recognize queen. Even someone as amazing as Shonda Rhimes has heroes, and the showrunner paid tribute to one of her own for Halloween. The creator of hits like Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away With Murder posted a photo of her Beyoncé costume on Monday, and there's never been anything more incredible.
Specifically, Rhimes paid homage to Beyoncé's "Formation," which took over the world earlier this year. Epic jewelry, a black hat, and long braids made the outfit perfect.
"I dream it, I work hard, I grind 'til I own it..." the caption reads, quoting the unforgettable song. "I committed to my costume!" she adds.
Commenters loved it, writing things like "Welp. We know who won#Halloween2016!"
Another added, "this is everything. Bey is my queen and I believe in the gospel according to shonda."
While Beyoncé and family dressed up at Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It" this year, the singer definitely has inspiration for next year. Who wouldn't want to dress as one of the most successful TV producers of all time?
