Despite his faults, Gilmore Girls fans can't help but love Logan Huntzberger. He was Rory's college sweetheart and clearly they can't keep away from each other. But in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Logan actor Matt Czuchry suggests that they're going to do just that. Of course, we've assumed that their goodbye was final before, and look how that turned out.
But Czuchry insists that Rory and Logan are real-for-real done. Like, Real-Deal-Holyfield done.
"I think the way I approached it was they had had their journey together, and from my perspective, Logan, no matter what happens moving forward, will always love Rory, and in this particular moment, they know it's time to move on," Czuchry tells THR. "Just like their relationship throughout these four chapters was mutual, this ending for them and saying goodbye was mutual. They could feel that it was the time to say goodbye."
Maddeningly, he won't even confirm that Rory's baby is his. (It totally is, come on.)
"The intention is to keep that open," Czuchry tells THR. "Their intention was to leave that open and put that out in the universe for fans to talk about and debate."
Yeah, but, come on. We know. Everyone knows. Read the rest of his interview, in which he says that the show is definitely probably maybe not coming back (but doesn't quite slam the door on the possibility), here.
