Camila Cabello's career is getting fast and furious. After dropping a track on the soundtrack for Fate of the Furious and releasing a new solo track with a very nostalgic lean, Billboard reports that the ex-Fifth Harmony member nabbed her first fashion campaign with Guess.
"I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Guess on this incredible campaign," Cabello said in a press release. "I've grown up loving their aesthetic and not in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd be lucky enough to be a part of it."
The images are for the brand's fall 2017 releases and feature classic Guess styling: black-and-white photos, plenty of denim, and Cabello's smoldering smize. She's in good company, too. Past Guess girls include Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith, and Adriana Lima as well as Gigi Hadid. In one of the images, Cabello is wearing a pair of very on-trend high-waisted stonewashed jeans. In the other, she's giving off major Westworld bordello vibes with a leather bustier, cowboy boots, and a strand of opera-length pearls.

Paul Marciano, Guess' chief creative officer, explains that the new images, taken in the California desert, mark a new direction for Guess' advertising. Instead of just looking for models that look great in the clothes, he says that there will be a focus on the women themselves.
"Camila’s confidence, strength, and beauty reflect the qualities I look for in a Guess Girl," Marciano told Billboard. "Choosing Camila to be the face of Guess this fall celebrates that Guess Girls are multi-talented, dynamic, and accomplished women."
What else happened today? Fifth Harmony released a new track, so it looks like things are pretty even at the moment. Not that anyone's keeping score.
