The Wasp Is This Summer's Wonder Woman

In 2015, Ant-Man teased Evangeline Lilly's Hope Van Dyne getting her own superhero suit in the middle of the credits. Three years — and one Wonder Woman — later, and that promise has finally fulfilled itself. The trailer of Ant-Man and The Wasp is here, with Lilly fighting alongside Paul Rudd, who reprises his role as the size-shifting hero.
The trailer opens with Scott Lang (Rudd), admitting to his daughter that he's started dabbling back in being Ant-Man, but he seems "to mess it up almost every time."
"Maybe you just need someone watching your back," his daughter suggests. "Like a partner."

The Wasp is the Ying to Ant-Man's somewhat bumbling Yang, and the two have a difficult mission ahead. The evil villain Ghost harnessed the powers of the Quantum realm to walk through walls and wreak havoc on the city, and only our buggy heroes can save it. Don't be fooled, however: This is Lilly's time to shine, and it's something director Peyton Reed has been wanting for some time.
"If we are fortunate enough to get to do a sequel, that would be a story I would be very excited to tell," Reed told Refinery29 back in 2015 when Ant-Man And The Wasp was just a glimmer of a possibility. Watch it become a reality in the trailer below!
