Busy Philipps is taking her beloved Instagram banter to late-night. The Cut reported exclusively that the actress and proud poster of sponsored content will be hosting her own late-night talk show on E!, tentatively titled Busy Tonight. This will make her the fourth woman on TV right now to have a late-night show, alongside Samantha Bee, Robin Thede, and Sarah Silverman.
Philipps will also executive produce the show alongside Julie Darmody and Eric Gurian, and production is slated to start this summer. This good news accompanies her recent role in Amy Schumer's smash hit I Feel Pretty, and her debut book coming to shelves this October.

If comedian Michelle Wolf's White House Correspondence speech proves anything, it's that it's high time for women to take the spotlight. Their voices have been missing from these important conversations, and while Philipps may not be standing up to the White House Press Secretary on her show, she's sure to bring the honesty and humor that earned her this fame in the first place.
Philipps started as an actress on Freaks And Geeks and Dawson's Creek, and appeared in a whole slew of movies from White Chicks to He's Just Not That Into You to The Gift. Her most recent recurring roles included Cougar Town and Vice Principals, and she's become such a favorite that people rallied around the ultimately passed-on sitcom, Sackett Sisters. It's just been a matter of finding where she truly shines, but it sounds like a platform for her honest, unfiltered thoughts — and hopefully a dash of her celebrity BFFs — will be just that.
