Kris Jenner is a crisis-management expert, so it was only a matter of time before she stepped in and handled the shit out of this Tristan Thompson debacle. Truly a gladiator for the modern era. In an Ellen interview that will air today, Jenner addressed the controversy. (Just FYI, Ellen has become the KarJenner's official PA system for any and all family-related announcements.) In the interview, Jenner said the cheating allegations were "unexpected." Thus, this scandal isn't a machination of the Kris Jenner Industrial Komplex. It's a real, honest-to-goodness family tragedy.
"We all hopped on a plane and flew to Cleveland because that’s what we know to do," she told Ellen DeGeneres. "I’m there to support my kids no matter what happens. I just do the best I can, just like anybody else would for their family. There’s a lot of us and we all get together and we do things together and we’re a force to be reckoned with.”

According to Jenner, Khloé Kardashian is doing well. She's in Cleveland, focusing on being a mother. "I’m so proud of that kid. I get choked up because she’s such a good mom and honestly I get so emotional," Jenner revealed.
Kardashian had her child in Cleveland because Thompson is based there. Shortly before she gave birth to True Thompson in April, the DailyMail shared footage of Thompson kissing someone who was definitively not his girlfriend. Following the controversy, there was some debate as to whether the scandal was orchestrated to protect Kardashian. After all, the press did give her the privacy she needed to get through her pregnancy. But, according to Jenner, it's just as it seems: Thompson is cruel, and the KarJenners are mobilizing to do what KarJenners do. They are protecting their own.
