Chris Hemsworth, the burly-cheery Marvel mascot, recently picked up a hitchhiker with his friend Luke Zocchi, per a new Instagram post from the Avengers star. And, imagine his luck! The hitchhiker wasn't a serial killer. He wasn't even boring, either. The hitchhiker happened to be musician Scott Hildebrand, who has 7,000 Instagram followers and a professed love for travel. (I mean, evidently!)
E! News managed to track down Hildebrand, who said that the trip was "cool and unexpected."
"They're so nice and I couldn't believe it was happening," he said.
Hemsworth and Zocchi took an elated Hildebrand on a helicopter ride, taking this particular car ride way up a notch. ("Little does he know that we're getting a chopper!" Zocchi says in the Instagram video, teeming with excitement.) A U.S. native, Hildebrand is currently on what looks like a world tour — his last few Instagram posts have him in a national park in Brisbane, Iceland, and Korea.
