These Are The Most Googled Super Bowl Foods In All 50 States

Photographed by Erin Phraner.
The Super Bowl is happening in just one week, and some Americans have already begun to plan which dishes they'll be serving friends at their own homes or contributing to potluck gatherings around the TV. Where are many of these Americans turning for dish ideas? Google, of course. Today, Google released 2019's most uniquely-searched Super Bowl foods in all 50 states.
According to Google's trend-tracking data, many states are sticking to classic Super Bowl appetizers like chicken wings, jalapeño poppers, nachos, and an array of different dips. However, some states are bucking tradition and instead searching for dishes that aren't necessarily associated with football's biggest night. For instance, Paella was the most uniquely-searched dish in Maine, and New Mexico's most unique search was for pea and peppercorn mash. The top dishes also range from extremely vague, like Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, Washington, and Wyoming's "cake" to oddly specific, like Nevada's "vegan cheesy bacon spinach dip."
Take a look below to see all the most uniquely-searched Super Bowl dishes in every single state. You might just get some ideas for your own upcoming Super Bowl party.
