Orange-Red
An orange-red lip is super on trend this season, but it can also be tricky to pick a matching outfit. No matter how much tangerine you have in your shade, though, a sleek and safe-bet option is to go with neutral or white tones and really let the color shine. An all white dress with cork-colored accessories is a super springy way to bring this look to life, or opt for multi-dimensional flesh tones.

Hot Pink
If you need to transition from day to night, hot pink is a great way to go. Since it's so fierce, find an equally bold outfit to match and colorblock the whole thing out. You can bring the color back into the outfit, or, if you're really going for it, bring in new hues with each piece you pile on. Just be careful not to go too overboard. Keep it grounded with metallic accessories and a neutral shoe.

Really Red
Sure, all black goes with a really red lip, but you don't need to play it too safe. Instead, think of the lip as just one of a few accessories you're allowed to pair with a simple base. Animal prints are always a win, as is one statement piece of jewelry and a fun pair of shoes. Again, this type of outfit is great for going from work to drinks (and beyond).

It's especially great for day time as it keeps the look light and fresh.
