Would You Say “I Do” In Topshop? Richard Nicoll Thinks You Should

Long gone are the days when the only option for brides was a pristine-white wedding dresses with tulle for days, and a cake topper to match. At least, that's what we're assuming, thanks to Topshop's debut of the Richard Nicoll collection "Tie the Knot." Debuting in
Dazed & Confused
, the new collection, intended for a walk down the aisle, still features ethereal whites and delicate lace, but is presented in a modern, sexy fashion.

Streamlining the ball-gown shape and shortening the hem on an otherwise cascading train, the Richard Nicoll provides us with bustier-top mini dresses and sweet, frilly short-sleeved frocks. For those of us without the ring, this winning collaboration (the seventh for Nicoll and Topshop) reads as perfect for shimmying and shaking at any upcoming cocktail event. However, we do wonder if these designs will actually persuade brides-to-be to dash to their favorite every-day store to prepare for "the big day."
