Just Call Us Psychic: Colored Lashes Go Couture At Dior

Did we call it, or did we call it? Back in February, we told you we had an inkling that colored mascaras were on their way back in with the stylish elite, and now we get word, via Style.com, that rainbow lashes were all the rage at Dior's fall '12 couture show.
Blame the resurgence of a full-color fringe on the legendary Pat McGrath: She created a fantastical blue lash look on models at Stella McCartney back in March, and now she's up to her old tricks at Dior. McGrath went further down the rabbit hole this go round, using hot pink and lime, matching the lashes to the bright liner that rimmed models' eyes. To really make eyes pop, a thin line of silver shadow was added to the top inner corner of the eyes and white liner was used to rim the lower inner rim to help eyes appear more open.

We can't say we think we'll see Dior debuting a commercial version of this look anytime soon — although, with Raf Simons on board now and looking to make a splash, you never know what could happen. That said, we hope this just propels the colored-lash trend forward, and that we start to see more new, funky hues come fall. (Style.com)
What do you think of the Technicolor lash trend? And more realistically, are you a fan of colored mascaras or do you think they should have been left back in the '90s with NKOTB and babydoll dresses?
