With today being our final Summer Friday, we plan to take full advantage of those few spare non-working hours (who wouldn't?). We were originally toying with the idea of bidding adieu to summer with a drive up PCH or alfresco cocktails, but then we realized: There's a paycheck being issued today. Plus, Scoop NYC in Brentwood and What Goes Around Comes Around are hosting a vintage Chanel jewelry trunk show. (We may as well call HR to request they direct-deposit those dollars straight into the cash register now!)
You may remember that back in June, WGACA offered up their prized Chanel pieces like lambskin purses and larger-than-life costume jewels for a fraction of the cost. Well, they're at it again, and will be setting up shop at the new-ish Scoop NYC boutique, just a stone's throw away from the Country Mart. No doubt about it, this event is definitely worth sitting in Friday traffic for (and blowing all that fresh cash).
