If you've been anywhere other than under a rock these past few days, you've already heard the buzz about Netflix's newest original series, the political drama House of Cards, starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. But, if you haven't watched the show yet, we have only three words for you: Do. It. Now. The cast is incredible — Spacey as Majority Whip Frank Underwood is a chilling master manipulator, while his wife, Claire, played by Wright, gives him a run for his money in the power-grabbing game. (Also, we'd kill for her wardrobe/haircut/super-toned bod.) Kate Mara clearly snagged her role as a scheming reporter based on her performance in American Horror Story — let's just say she's only a teeny bit more likable here.

While the show offers up plenty of place- and face-recognition opps (look for cameos by WUSA's Angie Goff, among others), it's also a compelling portrayal of the quest for power in politics — and in life. The really crazy thing? As reprehensible as the characters may be, it's hard not to admire their drive and foresight. Director David Fincher delivers just enough insider info via Fight Club-style narration to make you think you know what's going on, but the twists and turns ahead are nothing short of shocking — and addicting. Here at R29 DC, we've already binged our way through the entire series, but we want to hear from you: Are you tuning in? If so, does House of Cards feel like D.C. to you?
