Bellacures:
If you’re in the Valley, the best manicure—hands down—is at Bellacures in Studio City. Clean, adorable, and always stocked with the coolest new colors, you’ll love the way your hands and feet look after a trip to this spa.
Bellacures Studio City, 13033 Ventura Boulevard (at Coldwater Canyon); 818-921-7771.
Piele Skin Boutique:
We’ve waxed poetic about the facials by Tina, but don’t forget to hit up the discreet and lovely manicurist Mira Gralnik in the front of the salon for the ultimate in indulgence hands and feet.
Piele Skin Care Boutique, 9721 Santa Monica Boulevard (at North Roxbury); 310-271-7500.
Brentwood Nail Garden:
This nail spa may be the new kid on the block, but we recommend you head over to the Brentwood Garden plaza for a quick yet long-lasting manicure in a pristine, brand-new location.
Brentwood Nail Garden, 11677 San Vicente Blvd Suite 112 (at South Barrington); 310-979-0808.
Lanny Nails:
While there’s nothing particularly flashy about this nail salon, after asking a handful of locals about the best mani in L.A., more than a baker’s dozen came back to us with Lanny Nails. For around $25 you’ll get a long-lasting paint job—that won’t chip for a week at least—but remember to hit the ATM before you head over, because they only take cash.
Lanny Nails, 8317 Beverly Boulevard (at North Flores Street); 323-653-3370.
I Heart Nails:
I Heart Nails has impeccable service, super-clean amenities, and a long waiting list thanks to the loyal customers who book their weekly mani/pedi here and never miss an appointment. They also have gels and a great selection of Essie and OPI colors, so make sure you book early and often.
I Heart Nails, 8036 1/2 West 3rd Street (at Crescent Heights Avenue); 323-651-4700.
