Uniqlo, master of mass-market, Japanese utilitarianism, and Jil Sander, goddess of '90s high-fashion minimalism, was pretty much a match made in heaven. And now Vogue has published photos of the new affordable +J collection, which looks like what you'd expect: A cuffed, slim pant, an oversized, gray cardigan, a neat little structured jacket in a safe, neutral brown. These are not clothes to get noticed in, but there's a quiet demureness we like about them, especially in the fantastically-cut black coat. With clothes like these, it's all in the details. And besides, they make for a much more interesting workplace uniform than your standard pencil skirt, paralegals or Vogue fashion assistants alike. Hitting stores this October. (Vogue.com)
