It's funny what fashion will dismiss as "outer borough." With today's Alexander Wang fall '14 show in the Navy Yard, there was no small amount of industry-insider grumbling about having to go "all the way" to Brooklyn. (Hey, we make the trek twice a day!) But, the show's strengths — oversized outerwear and high-tech, color-changing clothes — more than silenced the naysayers. Here, Elisabeth Erm shows off the strong, slouchy silhouette that dominated the show (later, leather leggings and hello, leather power pants!) and made the wintry hike to Kings County so worth it.
