Despite Robin Black's self-professed love/hate relationship with beauty, the photographer-cum-makeup artist behind Beauty is Boring is bent on capturing the faces of everyone from top models to friends to perfect strangers with her vintage Big Shot Polaroid camera, complete with Magicubes & film — after she does their makeup, of course. Get your bookmarks tab ready, ladies.

This week I will be posting a series of images from the London Style Suites hosted by the British Style Council and StyleBop. For two days, the Chateau Marmont was home to a series of designer showcases, photoshoots, and parties culminating with the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards. And, somehow in the midst of all the excitement, I managed to play make-up and Polaroids with a few of my favorite faces. Stay tuned for posts featuring Poppy Delevigne, Dree Hemingway, Candice Lake, Suki Waterhouse, Blake Meyers, and StyleBop's fashion director, Leila Yavari.

Here's Poppy Delevingne at 6 a.m. in Bungalow 1 at the Chateau Marmont, prepping for a StyleBop photo shoot. Her skin is so flawless (and her freckles are so lovely) that we skipped foundation and just used Creme de La Mer. Sweater is Poppy's own. Modern take on Veronica Lake hair by John Ruggiero.
