In kind of a backwards way, glasses are a lot like pets: You don't find them, they find you. Meaning, you know just the right pair as soon as you spot them. Problem is, finding those cool, understated specs isn't always easy. Enter PRISM, a brand spanking-new optical line for the style obsessed. Founded by former fashion editor Anna Laub, the frames are hand-carved out of blocks of acetate all the way in the Treviso region of Italy and take their style cues from the cities each one is named after: Rio, London, New York, Paris, and Rome. Mutually inspired by fashion and architecture and influenced by archives dating back to 1849, PRISM already has a stable of A-list fashion fans. We predict success! Check out the recent snaps Anna sent us with some interesting fashion folks modeling them in Polaroids. Pick up a pair at Barneys, Dover Street Market, Browns, or at Prism London Online.
