We’re always on the hunt for the perfect work bag. Something that’s sturdy but not too heavy; big enough to hold our daily essentials but not too large and bulky; and sleek but timeless. Well, it seems our search is finally over with this purse from Parabellum, an L.A.-based leather-goods brand we first wrote about last week. This vibrant, violet, handmade briefcase is essentially the 9-to-5 carryall of our dreams. It checks off every box on our "perfect bag list," and the electric hue will definitely help you stand out at the office.
Sure, the price may be a bit steep — the purse rings in at a cool $2,450 — but, trust us, there's a reason why this is more than your average bag. Not only will you be able to carry it forever, but it's also produced (along with the rest of Parabellum's goods) entirely in the States from durable hides from older, pasture-raised bison. Ultimately, this helps support the local economy and craftspeople and limits carbon dioxide emissions through decreased transport. Talk about ethical. Want to see more? Click here to shop the bag.
