Photo: Courtesy of Beauty Is Boring. This Polaroid was a make-up and hair test for a shoot I did that is featured in the February 2014 issue of Elle Magazine. I wanted to play with the concept of the modern bombshell, which was mainly an excuse to get carried away with mascara and bright red lipstick. Hair stylist John D referenced classic updos but added a disheveled texture to keep the look relevant.
