Jason Wu Gets Nostalgic With His New Sunnies

jason-wu-fall-sunglasses-01
Jason Wu must have been brushing up on his history, if his newest sunglasses collection is anything to go by. Each piece is named after a famous woman, with four larger frames named after Amelia Earhart, Joan Jett, Mia Farrow, and Jean Seberg. Plus, for all the literary types, there are five more styles named after some of literature's most famous heroines: Think Elizabeth Bennet, Jane Eyre, and Scout Finch. Of course, with such a range of inspiration, the shades run the gamut, from cat-eyes to more masculine aviators, all perfect for surfing Hermosa Beach or lunch at Bergdorf's. And, judging by his crazy work ethic, we expect to see many more accessories launch under the wunderkinds' label...including pies. Wu tells WWD, "I'm going to open a cafe that sells potpies and fruit pies. I'm all about the pies." (WWD)
