It seems that Bay Area gluttony is in a total #winning position this week! First off, of course, there was San Jose resident Joey Chestnut who took home the top prize (for the fifth year in a row!) at Nathan’s Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island yesterday. And now, it looks like folks at the Alameda County Fair have shattered the former Guinness World Record for the largest commercially available hamburger. Check out the link below to witness the ridiculous creation (um, it includes forklifts) of the winning slab of meat, bun, and toppings that weighed in at 777-pounds. Now that’s a whopper.
