A Weird, Striped Pop-Up Shop In Between Two Bouncy Castles

Visit the larger-than-life Chelsea art installation Rainbow City (brought to you by AOL) before it closes on July 5, and the infectious happiness of this anime-inspired project is sure to rub off. You can drop a couple bucks right on site at the FriendsWithYou pop-up shop designed by legendary contemporary architecture firm HWKN, sandwiched between the air-filled sculptures (some that hold bouncy castles within) on a 16,000-square-foot "playground." The shop includes exclusive merchandise that's as bubbly and joyful (and kinda weird) as the art installation itself. Get ready, get set, get happy!
Where: Lot at 30th Street (at10th Avenue).
When: Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
