Get A Cardio Fix (Without Straining Your Wallet) At This Warehouse Sale

warehouseslide
If there are two consecutive words that cause an immediate quickening of our pulse, they are “warehouse” and “sale.” It’s instinct, right? Something about our competitive nature means we'll go to great lengths to come home with a pair of designer pumps at 70% off, diving into the fray to get to the size 9s first. It's all part of the experience — waking up before the sun rises, waiting in line for hours with strangers, and, yes, racing toward the crazily discounted treasures before anyone else has a chance at 'em.
D.C. doesn't to participate in the warehouse sale brouhaha too often, so we're counting down the minutes until the 7th annual Alexandria Boutique Warehouse Sale on Saturday. Our favorite stores from the area — Treat, Red Barn Mercantile, The Shoe Hive, and Hysteria, for starters — all come together under one giant roof to offer last-chance clearance prices on designer and one-of-a-kind shoes, decor, jewelry, and clothes. (We're talking DVF, Kate Spade, Trina Turk...) But that's not all: Expect cute and practical kitchen accessories from La Cuisine, high-end consignment clothing, children's apparel, and bar accessories. The best part, aside from the do-I-need-to-get-my-eyes-checked low prices? The location affords ample indoor waiting space, so you don't have to contract hypothermia waiting for the doors to open at 9 a.m. Lucky!

When: Saturday, February 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: The George Washington Masonic Memorial, 101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria. Email for more information.
