California Love, Now In Scent Form

It's oft said that fragrance can be transporting, bringing a certain location to life through the right blend of scents. Indie perfume whiz kid Yosh Han is doubling down on that idea with her new collection for Anthropologie. Called Aromascapes, the four-piece collection features scents inspired by her native California and some of its most iconic destinations.

There's Angeleno, an aloe, starfruit, water lily and cucumber scent for L.A.; Zuma, a Malibu beach scent with notes of sandalwood, young coconut, and night-blooming jasmine; Sea Ranch, a combo of herbs, fleur de sel, orange flower, and tonka for the Sonoma coast; and Montelena, a Napa Valley eau with a blend of tropical fruits, brioche, and California oak.

We like that this California-dream fragrance collection not only draws inspiration from its namesake locales, but also sources many of its notes from them. Also, we really just want to find out what a brioche perfume smells like.
