Designers Laura Cramer and Starr Hout caught our attention with their line Apiece Apart about a year ago. And, wouldn't you know it, a peek at their spring/summer 2010 delivery yielded further confirmation that these two are definitely on to something. The gist: A tightly edited collection of glamorous, sensual basics at their finest: a gorgeous sandwashed silk pantsuit (fit for Hepburn, no joke), silk gabardine palazzos, trouser shorts in a dreamy overcast shade of gray, and the most flattering khaki matchstick pants fashioned in stretch cotton. Basically, this is a collection you could not only wear everyday but probably forever (and happily). A few more extras: the designers crafted just a handful of leather pieces, including a classic equestrian belt in a deep shade of cognac as well as the simplest envelope clutch to nicely complement our simple sophisticate look for next spring.
