We know that
The Smurfs
movie is coming out at the end of July–we've been following the filming for the past two months (who doesn't love a Gargamel sighting?). But Smurfs and fashion? Thank you very much, no. Apparently Harper's Bazaar disagrees: For the magazine's August 2011 issue, Smurfette, the female star of the blue-bodied flick, gets a full fashion spread produced by Bazaar's special projects director Laura Brown. The turquoise stunner vamps it up in the season's hottest accessories, including coordinated looks from Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana, and Louis Vuitton. While we sort of think it's maybe a cool idea, poor Ms. Smurfette is about as classy as any one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends, meaning anything she wears reeks of "daddy", and no, we don't mean Papa Smurf.
