Celebrate America’s Independence With…Korean BBQ!?

beer-belly-300
It wouldn't be a 4th of July celebration without a BBQ and few brews, right? Well, this year we're ditching the Oscar Mayer wieners with sauerkraut (gasp!) for pulled pork and cornbread, Korean-style! That's right, our Independence Day mainstays are getting remixed.
About one year old, Korea Town's Beer Belly is our must-hit, late-night spot for mac 'n' cheese and a night cap. Open most evenings 'til 1 a.m., we're always in the mood to belly up at this spot's fully stocked bar of craft beers. (Plus, nothing impresses a date more than a gal who knows her away around a beer list. Start your night with a Trade Winds Tripel and finish off with a Pour Toi — we guarantee these sips will make any dude swoon.)

The restaurant has teamed up with The Park's Finest for a BBQ that will surely blow your boring burgers out of the water. Every evening this place adds a Korean spin to Americana classics like grilled cheese and fried chicken, so we expect nothing short of savory amazingness from this patriotic picnic!

When: Wednesday, July 4, noon to 5 p.m.

Where: Beer Belly, 532 South Western Avenue (between West 5th and 6th streets); 213-387-2337.
