If you're as scared as bees as we are (hello, My Girl), you would not have wanted to be on the corner of Mulberry and Grand streets yesterday—a mailbox was covered with hundreds and hundreds of bees, and the sidewalk was closed down so an NYPD beekeeper and representative for the New York City Beekeepers Association (yes, we have those) could try to find the queen in the hopes that the hive would move somewhere a little less anaphylactic reaction-probable. We don't know why the honey-jackets chose this particular spot, but for now we're going the long way to get to Florio's restaurant. (Gawker)
