Proof That Beyoncé Fully Had The Rachel

Beyoncé is the official queen of ever-changing hair. While most of her makeovers are on-point, it's safe to say even Bey isn't immune to trendy styles that may be less than amazing in hindsight. And, as anyone who grew up during the Friends era (or is rewatching the series on Netflix right now) can attest, The Rachel is arguably the biggest fad hairstyle of all time.
So, what happens when Beyoncé and The Rachel combine? Well, we have video evidence.
Exhibit A: the above 1997 video by little-known rapper Lil' O, featuring Destiny's Child. It was right around the time that Bey and Co. were releasing "No, No, No." In it, Beyoncé is seen singing backup with — you guessed it — a full-on Rachel 'do. Its first clear appearance is around 2:15.
The style may have been short-lived, but Beyoncé was still Beyoncé — and the woman looked slamming, even with an "eh" cut. Now, we're not saying she should bring this one back anytime soon, but, as far as dated cuts go, this one isn't half-bad. We're wondering what it would look like while she's flipping it — or swept up by a super powerful fan.
