It's easy to assume nail art is too hard to be done without a team of trained pros. While that may have been the case when the trend exploded back in 2012 (remember 3-D acrylic accents and watercolor tips?), there are definitely more subdued designs that can be DIY'd at home now. And, we're showing you one of our favorites right here.
In the video above, nail artist Natalie Pavloski creates a summer-proof, colorblocked mani using elements from a vodka-and-basil lemonade concocted by her friend, chef Chloe Coscarelli. And, they're laying out the steps for both. Pavloski's trick? Topping off essie polishes with a swipe of its gel.setter, which adds a gel-like shine to any color you wear on your tips without needing to be cured under harmful UV lights.
We gotta warn you: You're going to find inspiration in every drink, now. But, hey, cheers to that!
