Celebrate The Dogpatch’s Newly Coined “3rd Base” Microhood This Thursday!

And they've done it again. The Bold Italic has found—and labeled—a new pocket neighborhood in the city: 3rd Base. This hot "microhood" in Dogpatch now joins other buzzing blocks like FolSoMa, the Mission Mid-'20s, Mint Slope, and Valencia Bottoms as one of the spots the in-the-know site is celebrating. This time 'round, TBI's editors will take interested parties on a stroll around 3rd Base this Thursday, with stops at cool local venues including Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous Ice Cream, Acupuncture Kitchen's Elixir Bar, Serpentine, Sutton Cellars, Olivier's Butchery, and Poco Dolce, plus hosted tours through Rickshaw Bagworks and a sneak-peek at the soon-to-come Magnolia Pub and Brewery. In addition to this Dogpatch fête, The Bold Italic is also hosting a pop-up dinner with the folks behind Stag Dining (see them featured in our Best Underground Supper Clubs roundup!) on Saturday, August 13. The yummy five-course meal will have a distinctly Dogpatch-y bent and go for $80 per head. Buy your ticket for the first-ever Microhood Dining Series here, and get the full deets on the sure-to-be-awesome (and free!) 3rd Base walk below.
When: Thursday, August 11, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 3rd and 22nd streets in the Dogpatch
Price: Free, but make sure to RSVP!
