Sure, we all know that “once you pop, you just can’t stop,” but we’d like to think this mantra extends beyond cheesy, mid-nineties potato-chip ads and into everyday life. So, tomorrow clear your schedule, because Bottle Cap’s one-year anniversary will totally blow your top off. The American gastropub, originally the Washington Square Bar and Grill, was renamed, revamped, and will be celebrating its first birthday with amazing food and drink deals.
From the $1 bar bites to the $3 beers, you can afford to bite off more than you can chew and get things, well, poppin’. Owners Dane Boryta and Liz Ferro will also be making your night extra enticing with cocktail specials and gypsy jazz played by Gaucho. And the kicker? The event is free with RSVP! Get your pre-July 4th party on in North Beach, people. And, if you’re jonesing for more entertainment in the area, here are 29 more things to do in the historic hood while you're out there. Bottoms up!
When: Tuesday, July 3, 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Bottle Cap, 1707 Powell Street (between Union Street and Columbus Avenue); 415-529-2237.
