A Vanity Fair Staffer Shows Us How To Throw A Poolside Rager

You know R29's got you covered when it comes to shelling out advice for the best par-tays around (rooftop bash, anyone?), but hilarious NYC gal-about-town Bramble Trionfo is giving us a run for our money. As an associate for the Fairground at Fanfair sections in
Vanity Fair
(their
all-things-social columns, naturally), she's clued in to the latest and greatest in everything cool, like, right now. She recently threw an end-of-summer soiree at the haute hipster hangout King & Grove Williamsburg, and she invited R29 along for the party planning ride.

Letting the breathtaking Brooklyn scenery speak for itself (check out that out-of-this-world video screen!), she kept the decor simple and natural, opting for mismatched pillows, floating candles, and vintage cigar boxes. The cuisine stuck to a similar theme, featuring tomato and mozzarella skewers, and assorted antipasti, for that light and chic-slash-straight out of Tuscany by way of 'Billyburg feel. Trionfo's #1 party tip? Stick to punches for the drink of choice — you'll save money on bartenders (since guests can serve themselves), and a refill free-for-all leads to heavier pours and a rowdier rager atmosphere. For this occasion she whipped up a particularly potent batch of sangria (we're talking three days of marinating fruit potent). Check out the vid below to see the entire soiree come to fruition (plus Trionfo's LOL quips), and nab a little inspo for the perfect end of summer bash.
