Got A Q About Vintage? Cameron Silver Has The Answers

Cameronslide
Ever wondered where you could find the biggest and best cache of 70's Halston frocks? Or how to care for your Betty Draper-worthy wool swing coat? Well, you're in luck, because L.A. vintage impresario Cameron Silver is in town on Thursday to sign his new (and gorg!) coffee-table book, Decades: A Century of Fashion and discuss all things retro-fabulous.
With 15 years of vintage retail experience under his stylish belt, Silver has a knack for making retro pieces feel utterly of-the-moment. During his talk at the Corcoran, you'll get an inside look at the history and cultural significance of some of the 20th century's most iconic looks — from the subtle power of Tina Chow's sleek column dresses to the lasting influence of Cristóbal Balenciaga. After the discussion, Silver will be on hand to sign copies of his new tome (which you can purchase at the event) and have heart-to-heart chats with attendees. In other words: Get. Your. Tickets. Now.
