Cara Delevingne is the Jennifer Lawrence of models: goofy, candid, and always hungry. It's become her brand. But, she wants you to know that her love of food is not just for show. It's the real deal — so real that Delevingne now carries a small, permanent memento with her wherever she goes.
Delevingne's collection of body art is eclectic, to say the least. Her latest addition, on the bottom of her foot, simply reads: "Bacon..." While she's recently favored body art of the inspirational persuasion, Cara's tattoos exist on a wide spectrum of meaning — from the detailed lion on her finger to the eternal mark of friendship on her hip. Yet, while this new ink appears straightforward, something about it eludes us. We're dying to know: Why bacon?
We also have some follow-up questions. First, Ms. Delevingne has a tattoo on her other foot that reads, "Made in England." Does she only endorse British bacon? Or, is she open to pork products from other countries as well? Second, why the ellipsis? Cara, is there something about bacon that escapes you, that interrupts your thoughts, that gives you pause? Or, is this all just an elaborate step along the way to taking the most epic putting-your-foot-in-your-mouth selfie ever?
What we're trying to say is what does it all mean? Are you there, Cara? It's us, R29. If you can hear us, please offer some insight.
