Well, sorta. Basically, there's a new career aptitude test on the scene, and we're kinda into it. Partially because it's a quiz that spits out information about us, and we love that. And, partially because sometimes, when it's Friday afternoon and the week feels like it's still nowhere near finished, it's tempting to daydream about what it would be like to have a totally new gig, doing something crazy-different.
But, mostly, we like this test because it's super easy (you could take it in seconds, not even minutes) and because you get to filter for things like expected salary and growth potential (those matter to us, a lot). Plus, it proposed a possible future as a pilot for one of us, and now we're having Top Gun fantasies as we type.
Essentially, the tool is pulling data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and applying filters based on what you think you're good at across a series of broad categories. Pretty easy. Not a crystal ball by any measure, but the results are interesting food for thought.
Click through to Rasmussen College to take the speedy evaluation, and obviously, take your results with a grain of salt (lest you find yourself humming "Danger Zone" to yourself all weekend long).
