If you haven't heard of Swedish up-and-comer Carin Wester, listen up. Her playful spring collection may have caught our eye, but it was her fall '09 lookbook that really reigned us in with its dark-hued, crisp and tailored looks, all polished off with a cool street edge. Carin created body con skirts, dresses, and separates in various shades of grey, black, and neutrals (with the exception of a standout acid-yellow dress). One little wool bomber in particular is sending our hearts a flutter, and who can ignore the leather wedge footwear (we're gaga over those knee-highs that look like two-boots-in-one)? For her men's line, simply named Wester, she carries over the somber tones but throws in a couple of knits for good measure. Now we know what the cute couple of the year will be wearing.
