The latest food trend in Hollywood doesn't include an obscene amount of truffle oil or gold-flake desserts — it actually comes via vending machine! But, before you gun it with hopes of scoring Spago-level bites for the price of a Snickers bar, be aware: This box is prime for Black Card holders only. The newest addition to three L.A. malls is an ATM courtesy of the folks at Beverly Hills Caviar. Similar in style to the machines from Sprinkles Cupcakes or MeUndies (yes, there are insta-undergarments available in SoCal!), this contraption sells everything from a pink mother-of-pearl spoon for $4 to Imperial River Beluga Caviar for $500 an ounce — yes, you read correctly, it's per ounce.

The over-the-top machines are currently on display at Westfield Century City, Westfield Topanga, and the Burbank Town Center. And although we're all about hitting up a food court mid-shopping jaunt, the bill for this bad boy might be more than most people's entire Christmas budget. And, according to the company, truffles, escargot, gourmet salts, and other swanky hors d'oeuvres are also available.
Could this vending machine possibly be the most pretentious of them all? Not if you count the one at the Hudson Hotel, which sells Ferraris, gold handcuffs, and Ouija boards — now that's serious stuff! (Eater LA)
